What is The Growth Thread Retreat?
This retreat is designed to bring together amazing Handmade business owners who are at any stage of their business but see the value in community, in-person meet-ups and trainings made specifically for them.
In this an in-person event held in Dana's hometown of Shepherdsville KY and will be two days of trainings, breakouts, hands-on work and massive networking.
It will also include a warehouse tour to see how Dana runs her team and her multiple businesses day in and day out. Trust me when I say the things that change your business are found in the conversations at events like this.
This is NOT Amazon-specific (though there might be a breakout on it!); this is about growing your entire business.
2026 Retreat Details
The event will be held on July 23 and 24, with an optional day on July 22 (smaller mastermind style day with more one-on-one time with Dana). It is all at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepherdsville, KY and will include a partial day at Dana's warehouse nearby. Closest airport is Louisville (SDF).
The cost of the retreat includes :
TRAININGS : Trainings on Thursday and Friday, including keynotes, breakouts, masterminding with your peers and more. Full schedule to be released closer to dates.
Breakouts will likely include specific tables for topics of interest, such as Etsy, Amazon, Social Media, Automation, etc.
MEALS : Lunch and Dinner on both Thursday and Friday. Breakfast is included at both nearby hotels (more info below).
Options for Lodging :
There are two hotels within walking distance (same parking lot) of the Conference Center. You may coordinate sharing of rooms in the FB group (link will be shared after signup) if you wish. There are NOT blocks currently reserved so that you can choose.

Additional Day Info (July 22) :
An additional option/upgrade is to attend July 22 as well, which will not have trainings prepared for a large group, but instead be tailored to a small group. Depending on how many participate in this day, it will have one-on-one time with Dana, more detailed operational trainings based on the need of that group and overall a more intimate feel. Detailed schedule will be released closer to time. Participating in this date will require a little information ahead of time as to what talks you would like to see so I can make this day as custom as possible.
MASTERMIND DAY MEALS : Lunch will be included on Wednesday. Breakfast is included at both nearby hotels (more info above). We will go to Dana's house for dinner on Wednesday for a casual dinner to get to know each other more!
